Barcelona square off against Getafe in La Liga matchday 8 with coach Hansi Flick rotating his squad, resting two regular starters and making several alterations from recent fixtures. Jules Kounde is looking to win back a starting spot after Eric Garcia featured in that role for a run of games.

Off the pitch, Chelsea are being linked with midfielder Frenkie de Jong. Liverpool are also said to be chasing an out-of-favour Barcelona defender, with reports placing the fee at around 60 million pounds.
