Caleb Douglas made his NFL debut on Sunday. He and Chris Bell started at wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins in the season opener against the Las Vegas Raiders. Douglas had a rough start. Later, Malik Willis found him for a 25-yard gain. The Dolphins kept their most veteran receiver out of the opener. That gave the receiving roles to a youthful unit. The team used a youthful receiving group. That group drew attention as possible waiver-wire adds in advance of the opener. The young group took center stage. Analysts also said the trio could make history in a rookie receiving class. Douglas's only reception counted in the stat sheet for 25 yards.
