Fifteen-year-old Cooper Lutkenhaus newly booked his position in the 800m final at USATF Nationals. He took under 1:50 the previous season, two meets earlier. His father trains him at present. The father works as a coach at Nebraska-Kearney while coaching his son at meets in New York recently. Lutkenhaus remains cool in races even with the jump up ranks. Scouts currently monitor his consistent times and steady focus as he targets more competitive tracks.
