Cristiano Ronaldo has shortened his disciplinary action to a 29-day period and a reduced fine of $285 for abandoning Portugal's training session. Initially, he asked for a punishment with no reduction but later fought to cut it. The disciplinary action stemmed from a disagreement with coach Jesus. Ronaldo asked for punishment 'without mitigation' initially then sought to reduce it. The fine and suspension were given for exiting the camp prematurely.
