Dancing with the Stars closed out its Mariah Carey Night during week 4 of season 35 with what multiple reports called another unexpected elimination. The episode also delivered the season's highest score to date, according to People, The Hollywood Reporter, and Page Six.
The broadcast sparked conversation beyond the elimination itself. Judge Carrie Ann Inaba was met with boos from the crowd, and at least one other couple was crying on camera before the night ended. The identity of the eliminated couple was reported by ABC News on October 7, 2026.
