Users worldwide report problems with Instagram ranging from login failures and delayed updates. Downdetector data shows a sudden rise in outage reports over the past hours. All the app and website appear non-functional concurrently. Meta has still not release a statement about this outage as of 22 July 2026. Reports matching have been noted across its parent platform, Messenger and Instagram at the same time.
