Dame Judi Dench has publicly criticized Petco for alleged bird abuse. The actor, known for her admiration for parrots, accused the retailer of sourcing birds from breeders who kept them in small and dirty enclosures. Dench called for an end to selling birds at Petco, citing PETA's exposure of breeding factory horrors. The criticism comes as Dench has been vocal about her love for parrots and the proper care of animals.
