Bandai Namco revealed the Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO and the RG Project vision on that day. Filmmaker Kenji Kamiyama is set to direct for the upcoming anime, scheduled to premiere in the following year. The project creates a fresh Gundam universe, completely separate from prior lore. The new model is connected to the upcoming Gundam Rogue Orbit project. Kamiyama aims to construct a original timeline for the series.
