The PGA Tour stated he wagered on championship matches. His betting occurred on several Tour events throughout the season. The suspension begins immediately and continues for six months. The ban is six months.
ESPN and Golf Channel released the report on Wednesday. Golf Digest and Golfweek published the story later that day. The league said his bets covered Tour competitions. He will not compete or receive prize money during the ban.
