Trump says Secret Service wants him to 'take down' Oval Office - The Washington Post — Oval Office Demolition Plan Rejected by Trump

President Trump has claimed that he refused a Secret Service plan to demolish the Oval Office. He stated that the White House was in poor condition before his renovations. Trump defended his construction work, calling the pre-renovation state a 'disgraceful dump'. The Secret Service had proposed the demolition due to the White House's state.
