Daniel Tupou has retired from the NRL just days after the Sydney Roosters won the title. The winger leaves the sport as a four-time premiership winner, all earned with the Roosters, having never worn a different club's jersey.
The Roosters described themselves as "lost for words" at his departure. Tupou's entire career was spent in red, white and blue, cementing his place as one of the most loyal one-club players in the competition's recent memory.
